DIRECT TO FILM TRANSFERS
DTF is an alternative printing process to DTG and Screen Printing. Using a specific kind of water-based ink to print onto a film transfer that is then ready for storage or instant use. Once heat is applied and pressed the soft water-based ink is then transferred onto the garment.
DTF printing is ideal for promotional, work-wear, high-vis, gym and cycling wear. It doesn’t crack like screen printing and has a very soft handle due to the water-based ink used. DTF is designed predominantly for cotton garments and is a good alternative for start-up companies due to being able to print small runs.
